The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an adversary air defense intelligence analyst engaging in the semi-complex to complex technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from one or more intelligence sources in support of customer requirements.
DUTY 1: Serves as an air defense intelligence analyst on semi-complex to complex technical analysis and production activities. DUTY 2: Present ISR semi-complex to complex capabilities to service, national, and coalition customers within defined areas of responsibility. DUTY 3: Conducts semi-complex to complex analysis of multi-source intelligence.
Evaluates both classified and unclassified critical and/or sensitive information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses and centers of gravity. DUTY 4: Participates in complex and/or manages semi-complex intelligence production. DUTY 5: Serves as a functional expert on ISR issues. Makes recommendations on operational matters used to initiate management actions to revise policy to commit squadron funds or resources.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
