The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the command's senior sensitive activities intelligence professional and authoritative subject matter expert, exercising an exceptional degree of strategic autonomy to direct the threat intelligence and mission support for the sensitive activities enterprise for the Air Force Reserve Command's most sensitive and compartmented operations and activities.
DUTY 1: Exercises senior-level authority over all CI functions and intelligence analysis programs. Serves as the fmal arbiter for quality control and methodological soundness of all CI Due Diligence and analytical products, establishing the standards for the entire command.
DUTY 2: Serves as the command's principal strategic advisor to a diverse portfolio of external customers and leadership on the full spectrum of sensitive activity Counterintelligence (Cl), intelligence, Operations Security (OPSEC), and SAP security protocols. DUTY 3: Independently initiates, directs, and authors authoritative threat intelligence, due diligence, and vulnerability assessments that interpret complex, often conflicting, all-source intelligence.
DUTY 4: Independently architects and directs highly complex and sensitive intelligence, CI, and cyber support operations and analytical projects on a global scale.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
