Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below for IMPORTANT additional information. The primary purpose of this position is: to provide planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over the Component-Numbered Air Force's (C-NAF)'s Inspector General (IG) office.
Key Responsibilities
DUTY 1: Plans, directs, and manages the activities of the Inspector General Office, ensuring that programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet the needs of the organization. DUTY 2: Serves as the Commander's principal advisor on Air Force Complaints Resolution and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) programs. DUTY 3: Monitors and evaluates the compliance and effectiveness of Commander's Inspection Programs (CCIP) among subordinate units.
DUTY 4: Represents the Inspector General office and programs with a variety of C-NAF, subordinate, and functional area organizations. DUTY 5: Develops and administers a viable education and training program for C-NAF commander, staff, and subordinate units in regard to the AF Complaints Resolution and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse programs.
This position is with Department of the Air Force Headquarters, Department of the Air Force.

The posted pay range is $108001 – $140403/yr.
