The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a subject matter expert SME and principal advisor in implementing and managing all phases of the wing complaints resolution and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) programs the Inspector General (IG) incumbent intakes, analyzes and decides course of action with regards to every member's contact and possibility of a complaint.
DUTY 1 - Plans, organizes, and executes a wide range of activities for the center wing complaints resolution program parenthesis CRP) and fraud, waste, and abuse parenthesis FWA) program, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and ensuring the best interest of the Air Force and airmen needs are met.
DUTY 2 - Investigates IG complaints and FWA allegations and serves as the center/ wing authority on conducting investigations and documenting the analysis, conclusions, and findings. DUTY 3 - Develops and administers A viable education and training program for the commanders on their rights and responsibilities in regard to the Air Force complaints resolution and fraud, waste, and abuse programs. DUTY 4 - Assists with the execution of the Commander's Inspection Program.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
