This position serves as an IT Project Manager (APPSW/INFOSEC) located in the Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Cybersecurity Services Staff, National Classified Systems Directorate, Software Engineering Branch in Washington, DC. The incumbent is to serve as A responsible for managing IT projects and leading a cross functional technical team using agile delivery practices.
The duties and responsibilities for a IT Project Manager (APPSW/INFOSEC) GS-2210-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Participates software development projects through all phases of the IT project lifecycle, including initiation, requirements definition, planning, design, development, testing, implementation, deployment, and closeout.
Manages requirements, priorities, dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations throughout the software development life cycle. Performs technical analysis of software applications, system interfaces, configurations, and operational processes to identify vulnerabilities, system deficiencies, performance issues, and security risks impacting operations and federal information systems.
Supports IT teams consisting of software developers, cybersecurity professionals, engineers, IT specialists, contractors, program personnel, and mission stakeholders.
