Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as senior information technology (IT) consultant to management in support of IT policy, plans, and managing Command and Control (C2) integration support for the development of software applications to ensure integrity, timeliness, quality control, and efficient utilization of strategic data.

Key Responsibilities

1. As the SMPES C2 database and software application expert and senior test and evaluation specialist, develops long-term strategic and capital investment plans for improving the efficiency of C2 data management specific to management and execution of strategic nuclear weapons and conventional and non-kinetic weapons. 2. Directs, leads, and/or conducts studies and establishes plans of action for improving the efficiency of information technology applications. 3.

Assesses policy needs and develops policy and procedures governing IT activities. 4. Serves as senior functional manager on contract and budget activities. 5. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

Requirements & Education

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Cyber Excepted Service (CES) position implemented under Section 1599f of Title 10, United States Code (U.S.C). This position is in the Excepted Service.
