Job Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a IT SPECIALIST (SYSTEMS ANALYSIS), Position Description Number T5522P01 and is part of the PA 270th Engineering Installation Squadron, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement.
Key Responsibilities
As an IT Specialist (Systems Analysis), GS-2210-11, you will plan work to be accomplished, set, and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work of the full range of cyberspace systems. Analyze complex processes and/or a variety of unusual problems, questions, or conditions relative to the design and/or selection of management information systems and applications software technology.
Develop feasibility studies and participates in special projects to maintain required programs and support the needs of the user. Perform as a technical advisor to leaders or managers of IT systems. Represent the organization at meetings and conferences, presents briefings, and establishes/maintains effective work relationships at various command levels. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Education
If you are using Education to qualify for this position, At the GS-11 level, a Ph.D. or equivalent, or 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
