The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as a subject matter expert in logistics management of Operational Contract Support, coordinating with staff and subordinate commands in planning for and obtaining commercial capabilities for support of CCDR-directed operations.
Key Responsibilities
Serves as a Logistics Management Advisor on Operational Contract Support (OCS) to HQ USCENTCOM, subordinate Component commands, and Joint Task Forces. Manages OCS focused logistics reporting and resolution of OCS logistics-related Requests for Information (RFIs). Develops and maintains OCS logistics knowledge management tools and processes to improve organizational logistics performance.
Leads special logistics projects and initiatives focused on improving OCS logistics capabilities and effectiveness. Conducts studies and analyses of logistics policy, resource allocation, and procedural challenges, recommending actions that enhance logistics support for operations.
This position is with Air Force Elements, U.S. Central Command, Department of the Air Force.
