Job Summary
This position is part of the Naval Reactors Laboratory Field Office, Department of Energy. National Nuclear Security Administration Demonstration Project: This position is covered by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Demonstration Project. The NQ-03 pay band is equivalent to the GS-13/14 grade levels.

Key Responsibilities
As a Logistics Management Specialist (Branch Chief), NQ-0346-03, you will: Primarily be responsible for logistics, administrative, inventory management, traffic management, and quality assurance duties in support of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) transportation function. Serve as Branch Chief, Transportation Operations, by planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of Naval Reactors Laboratory Field Office (NRLFO) rail shipments.
Oversee and coordinates transportation logistics activities to ensure effective and timely movement of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program-related equipment. Perform supervisory functions for active duty United States Navy personnel assigned to the Transportation and Logistics Management Division.
