The primary purpose of this position is: To exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities over the 52d Logistics Readiness Squadron (52 LRS). Position serves as 52 LRS' Logistics Manager; technical advisor in a squadron with 453 personnel authorizations supporting a large installation with a joint operational mission.
Key Responsibilities
As Logistics Manager, plans, organizes, and oversees the day-to-day support activities that the 52 LRS provides to the 52 FW. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the Logistics Readiness Squadron for installation and functional area logistics readiness issues within and outside the organization. Plans and directs training, resources, and systems required to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the squadron.
Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments to include long-term planning, functional technical advice and guidance, and continuity of management.
