As a Machine Tool Operator, you will gain hands-on experience in precision machining and fabrication. Working alongside skilled professionals, you will help manufacture and repair critical components that directly support our nation's defense mission.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of simple and routine tasks incidental or preparatory to the work of higher-graded Machine Tool Operators and Machinist.
Requirements & Education
For this position, we are seeking current students pursuing a degree or certificate in a relevant technical field from an accredited vocational, trade, or technical school, or community college.
Relevant fields of study include, but are not limited to: Machining Technology / Machine Tool Technology Precision Machining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machining Tool and Die Making Advanced Manufacturing Technology FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S.
education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
