Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST some of your typical work assignments include: Using standard techniques and methodologies of management analysis, conducting management surveys that require fact finding, analysis of information gathered, computer analysis and evaluation of data, and development of recommendations regarding special projects and subjects.

Generating requisitions for a wide range of services, contracts, special equipment, and supplies required for OPP to meet mission goals. Assisting in preparing justification for items. Maintaining log of requisitions submitted and making periodic inquiries regarding status of items until delivery of services or equipment is received. Assisting in managing utility administrative services to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of OPP Divisions.

May be responsible for activities involving procurement and purchasing of office supplies, hardware, software, furniture, services, etc; travel and training requests; office relocations; movement and installation of communications; space management; printing and reproduction; etc. Preparing formal reports on management survey findings, recommending management actions to be taken, and assisting in their implementation.

Recommendations may involve new or substantially modified work methods, procedures, and/or systems, and impact more than one organizational component.

Requirements & Education

There is no education requirement for this position; therefore, transcripts are not required. This position has an education requirement and therefore, transcripts are required. PASS/FAIL COURSES: If more than 10 percent of your undergraduate course work (credit hours) were taken on a pass/fail basis, your claim of superior academic achievement must be based upon class standing or membership in an honor society. GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study.

Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
