The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a project manager to conduct comprehensive manpower requirements determination studies and organizational analyses of a wide diversity of organizations, functions, and work processes and provide management consultant capabilities to improve mission effectiveness, resource efficiency, and resource savings.
Serves as functional point-of-contact and project manager, conducting organizational and process related manpower requirements determination studies. As a project manager, reviews and evaluates organization structures and missions by interpreting data, process flow, organization concepts, and line/staff relationships. Serves as project manager for special studies on process improvement and organizational performance.
Analyzes related systems data and prepares system database documents to support manpower requirement determination as applicable for the function under study; analyzes functional area systems generated workload data to satisfy the needs of the manpower requirements determination studies and other special projects or studies.
