Joining the Secret Service, Office of Strategy, Planning, and Innovation, Enterprise Protocol and Directives Division will allow you to provide analytic engagement in maintaining responsibility for internal agency policy and guidance documents, directives, forms, and organization control within the Secret Service. The selectee will serve as a Management Analyst (Protocol and Directives) in the Office of Strategy, Planning, and Innovation, Enterprise Protocol and Directives Division. Typical work assignments include: Develops technically authoritative documents, reports, and information products that provide robust support for recommendations or proposed solutions, ensuring they are presented in a compelling and convincing manner.
Coordinates efforts among diverse team members, fostering collaboration, and driving consensus to develop actionable strategies for resolving challenges and improving program efficiencies. Applies theories and principles of management and organization practices and procedures to develop and review new or modified work methods, organizational structures, management processes, etc. and recommends substantive changes.
Manages, initiates, and oversees the proper development, drafting, and/or analysis of proposed directives covering key substantive programs throughout the Secret Service. Takes on leadership roles within committees, task forces, or working groups tasked with addressing systemic issues that affect line program operations.
