This position serves as the Management Analyst for the VR&E Division, Lincoln RO (334) and has the major responsibility for supporting the assessments of the operations of the VR&E Division. The broad scope of duties includes assisting in the implementation of revised organizational structures and providing the necessary studies and evaluations of various processes, allocation of budgets, employee utilization, resource allocation and delegations of authority.
Specific duties include: Conducts comprehensive reviews of division accomplishments and goals, facilitates organizational planning, and oversees policy and procedure publications. Prepares reports on performance, workload, and compliance for review at all levels.
Analyzes, evaluates, and advises on work methods and division effectiveness, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative approaches; conducts studies, non-financial internal audits, and recommends improvements to management functions, organizational operations, and internal controls.
Acts as Internal Control Coordinator, compiling and tracking the Management Control Plan, supporting division management on key policy and operational issues, and representing the VA in inter-agency task forces and board assignments.
Assists with onboarding and offboarding employees (account creation/deletion, systems access), provides HR support for out-based staff (PIV cards, hiring), administers travel voucher processing, back-up timekeeping, and utilizes Microsoft applications for documentation and reporting. Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Compressed/Flexible: Available Telework: Yes - This position is eligible for situational (ad hoc) telework only.
