This position is located in a Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, Office of Mission Support (OMS). The incumbent serves as Management Analyst within the Office of Security, Operations, Safety, Security, and Preparedness and Administration (OSSPA) Directorate.
Specific duties include: Expert knowledge in programming, regulations, guidelines and processes in order to serve as a technical authority on VBA-wide forms and form letter lifecycle management. Ensures VBA forms comply with statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements; identifies deficiencies and develops corrective action strategies.
Designs and implements process improvements using data-driven methodologies to reduce burden, streamline workflows, and increase operational consistency. Leads analytical reviews of VBA printing, distribution, and mail operations to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities. Prepares periodic spending summaries, briefing materials, and program updates for senior leadership, presenting findings and recommending alternative strategies to optimize resources.
Conducts forecasting and scenario analysis to assess the impact of operational decisions on multi-program budgets. Evaluates funding requirements for emerging initiatives and advises leadership on resource implications, risks, and compliance considerations Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
