The Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center (Long Beach, CA) is seeking a Management and Program Analyst to join the Occupational Safety Service. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating, enhancing, and sustaining the Comprehensive Environment of Care (CEOC) Program, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on inspections spanning patient safety, infection prevention, and environmental safety.
Major duties include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and manage the Comprehensive Environment of Care (CEOC) program. Advise executive leadership and management officials on EOC program adequacy and effectiveness. Prepare and present advisory and evaluative reports on EOC program performance to leadership. Conduct quantitative analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and compliance. Maintain and monitor EOC program data and analytics, ensuring integrity and accuracy.
Identify, address, and escalate significant EOC concerns or potential national-level risks. Prepare, review, and analyze trend reports and ensure timely follow-up actions. Conduct management surveys to assess regulatory compliance and document findings. Administer and track EOC rounds and follow-up actions using Performance Logic or similar software. Lead and coordinate routine environmental inspections with clinical and administrative staff.
Recommend and support system redesign and quality improvement initiatives within EOC programs. Serve as the medical center's primary point of contact for EOC-related accrediting agencies and internal committee. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
