Job Summary

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations (OFO), Admissibility & Passenger Programs (APP), Arrival and Departure Information System (ADIS) located in Washington D.C. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will serve as a senior analyst or advisor to management on a major mission or administrative program requiring application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess complex management processes, systems and mission support programs. This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10).

Typical duties include: Directing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing a major segment of an agency-wide mission or administrative program. Planning and conducting special studies, personally or through team members, providing advice to managers, and developing and evaluating policies in assigned program areas.

Providing technical assistance and direct support to management staff in all matters relating to the application of planning systems and management programs to meet mission requirements. Planning, developing and coordinating various planning management through briefings, presentations and conference for executive management. Ensuring that accurate, appropriately concise and timely information is available to management and policy officials.
