Joining Customs & Border Protection (CBP), Office of Accountability, will allow you to utilize your expertise to serve as a key advisor providing expert consultation, advice, and facilitation across various CBP and Enterprise Services Programs. This position starts at a salary of $143,913.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $187,093.00 (GS-14, Step 10).

In this Management and Program Analyst position you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals involved in serving as the principal advisor and subject matter expert, responsible for leading program evaluation initiatives, developing complex agency-wide studies and evaluations, identifying key trends, and formulating strategic recommendations that enhance organizational effectiveness, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with statutory mandates.
Work requires the development of new methods, adaptation of existing analytical techniques, and creation or interpretation of policy and guidance. Typical Work assignments include: Providing expert consultation, strategic advice, and facilitation across CBP and Enterprise Services programs to support high-level problem-solving and organizational priorities.
Developing long-range program plans, goals, objectives, milestones, and tracking tools to monitor Office of Accountability priorities, initiatives, and strategic progress. Preparing executive-level reports, briefings, correspondence, speeches, talking points, and strategic communications on complex program issues. Leading high-visibility analytical projects and special initiatives to resolve organizational challenges, improve operations, and support mission success.
Coordinating stakeholder discussions, meetings, liaison operations, and consensus-building activities to support planning, communication, and implementation of Office of Accountability initiatives.
