This position is part of the Department of Energy's, Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC). As a Management and Program Analyst, you will oversee Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs, develop technology commercialization initiatives, manage grants, awards, connect awardees to venture capital and grow business or start-up companies.

Veterans shape the future of energy As a Management and Program Analyst, you will: Serve as a senior advisor to leadership by providing analysis and recommendations on program strategy, resource allocation, and operations for the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. Evaluate program operations, metrics and administrative systems to decrease operational risk and drive process improvements.
Analyze, interpret and develop administrative policies and guidelines to align with organizational mission and statutory requirements. Oversee management information and reporting systems to collect, track and evaluate program data to assist management in long-term planning and decision making. Collaborate with internal DOE offices, National Laboratories, federal agencies, academia and industry partners to resolve program issues and advance agency objectives.
Execute strategic initiatives that support technology commercialization efforts, tech-to-market pathways, and innovative small-business funding to deploy clean energy and critical technologies.
