This position is located in Boston, MA, Norfolk VA, Oakland, CA and/or the Seattle, WA field offices. As a Management and Program Analyst (Operations Manager) you will plan, oversee, and coordinate numerous operational and administrative functions that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the assigned field office and the entire agency.
As a Management and Program Analyst (Operations Manager), PT, 0343, 3, your typical work assignments may include the following: Analyzes policies and procedures in order to increase efficiency and implements resulting improvements. This includes identifying data sources and analyzing and presenting data in a variety of formats to diverse audiences at all levels of the organization.
Assesses and develops policies and procedures regarding resource utilization, organization, mission and functions, work measurement, workload analysis, and productivity measurement; Collaborates with key leaders and managers to examine programs and operations and develop strategic objectives and business plans that focus on improving program performance and achieving outcomes; Lead Field Operations task teams in support of the national responsibility (such as budget, property, time and attendance management, training, and security); Serves as project manager to execute a variety of ongoing and special projects that may affect any office function and may cross organizational lines; Oversees staff assigned to provide a wide variety of GAO-wide business processes and administrative and support services and processes that enable the field office to function optimally by assigning work and establish priorities; Serves as the Security Officer for a field office's physical and information security programs and processes.

The posted pay range is $106627 – $197200/yr.
This position is eligible for telework.
This position requires a Secret security clearance.
