The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.
The incumbent is an Insider Threat Risk Hub Senior Analyst who is responsible for providing direct Hub oversight to analysts who support IRS InT Hub Operations by managing the intake of reported insider threat incidents. Responsible for conducting thorough and expeditious research, analysis, and reporting of potential insider threat information of employees, contractors, and any other entity under Service authority.
Assists and supports the Insider Risk (InRM) Program Manager in the accomplishment of major technical/analytical studies and/or project relating to the substance of key programs of the Internal Revenue Service to solving complex problems. Identifies potential risk reduction and/or control measures based on applicable regulations and best practices. Evaluates data patterns and trends, advising management with recommendation on approaches and areas of concern.

A college or university degree generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
