Job Summary
The position is established to perform extensive project management and analysis for the organization including the design, planning, and the executing of organizational programs; the development and implementation of new or improved processes; and the development and maintenance of databases for various reports. Provides malmanagement with information for making decisions related the effectiveness and efficiency of business are programs and operaions.
Key Responsibilities
The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. Presence at the Alexandria, VA campus is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person. Position may be eligible for situational telework in accordance with agency policy/business unit discretion. The agency currently allows for 52 hours of telework per calendar year.
Major Duties for this position include: Provides direct input and often implements strategic initiatives, reengineered business processes impacting workload, staffing, and technological changes. Applies a wide range of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues and/or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of the business area operations.
Analyzes administrative and production processes and procedures to assess performance effectiveness in areas of productivity and quality. Participate in the development of strategic long-range planning for the business area. Designs and prepares workflow analyses, project plans and schedules, reports and other similar tools to measure operational performance.
