This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Disaster Mission Management Office in Atlanta, GA or Miami, FL. The incumbent will use qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques, broad knowledge of financial management related laws, administrative regulations, policies, procedures, fact finding techniques and skill in applying evaluative methods to measure the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the program.
Key Responsibilities
As a/an Management and Program Analyst at the GS- 0343-13, some of your typical work assignments may include: Conducts quality assurance and internal control reviews of program operations, grant management activities, applications, and case files to assess regulatory compliance. Performs financial and administrative analyses of grant programs to evaluate cost allowability, financial accountability, and compliance with grant award requirements.
Plans and conducts comprehensive operational studies using statistical analysis, workload measurements, and evaluative techniques to assess program efficiency and effectiveness. Reviews and interprets federal regulations, agency policies, and program guidelines to identify compliance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
Evaluates audit findings, develops recommendations for operational improvements, and provides technical guidance on grants management and compliance matters.
