Key Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Management Officer, you will: Serve as the primary financial manager for the CIO; Coordinate and incorporate spending plans from lower levels in the CIO into the formulation of the CIO budget. Plan, direct, and evaluate the CIO's critical and operational planning, program development, and administrative and management services programs.

Brief the Director on significant program planning and operational problems and issues affecting the CIO. Manage the administrative activities of the entire CIO, including the human resources functions of the organization, functional statements, organization charts, and staffing plans. Serve as the second level supervisor of employees engaged in a wide variety of administrative, management services, business operations, and planning functions.

Requirements & Education

Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
