This position is with the U. S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), within the Directorate of Administrative Programs (DAP), located in Arlington Heights, IL, and Washington, DC. This position is at the full performance level. This position is outside the bargaining unit. This position is not remote. Selectee will be expected to report to one of the offices above.
Duties for the Management and Program Analyst position include, but are not limited to, the following: Advising managers and program officials on policies and procedures including actions to be taken to accomplish work in accordance with established requirements. Conducting analyses and preparing reports on workforce trends i.e. hiring, classification, compensation, employee and labor relations, retirement, and awards.
Analyzing management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems. Evaluating (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of the management processes and systems, human resources, and strategic planning initiatives within the program office. Providing leadership short-and long-term human capital planning objectives.
