The primary purpose of this position is to manage the day to day short- and long-range planning and management of the Manpower and Personnel requirements for the Maintenance Group and five subordinate squadrons.
- Responsible for managing all personnel and manpower resources assigned to the Maintenance Group. - Serves as a technical advisor to the Maintenance Group Commander and Squadron Commanders on all manpower and personnel matters. - Perform readiness duties for the Group Control Center and Group Readiness management office.
- Performs as the liaison between all maintenance group squadrons and CPO on all Civilian Personnel Action Requests (Standard FormSF 52's) requiring MXG/CC approval, such as, request to review positions descriptions, abolish positions, vacant positions and management reassignments. - Manages the Military Personnel Appropriations (MPA) Man-day Program requests and approvals for the Maintenance Group.
- Performs duty as the Maintenance Group READY Augmentation Duty Program Manager.
