This position is located within the Navajo Area Indian Health Services, Chinle Service Unit, Division of Public Health, Health Promotion Wellness Center. The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to departmental operations. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and provide general assistance. Assist patients with questions, appointments, and basic needs. Maintain, update, organize, and file patient and office records. Monitor office supplies and help maintain adequate inventory. Provide clerical and administrative support to public health staff.
