Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is: To plan, manage, coordinate and execute Command engagements for Mexico Performs as a Command Planner and Actin Officer for events and initiatives related to Mexico Creates substantive content for and coordinates numerous visitors (DV) across the N-NC staff and with subordinate and component organizations to execute the USNORTHCOM Commander's TSC activities.
Translate documents from Spanish to English and vice-versa for use by N-NC/J5; often translates official correspondence. Provides support for N-NC/J5 efforts with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, other Combatant Commands, Servies, ODCs and the federal interagency as necessary to collect facts on various TSC project and makes recommendations for those projecs.
Writes, develops, edits and revises talking points, information papers, briefings, strategy and policy documents, executive summaries and trip reporets for the Combatant Commander and senior military leadership.
