The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Contingeny Plans Analyst/ Military Support Specialist in the Plans Division for North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) J5.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and coordinating contingency plans through the Joint Planning and Execution Community (JPEC) in support of national objectives in response to Secretary of Defense (SecDef) and Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) direction. Provides expertise on theater campaign plans, strategic assessments and contingency planning.
Writes, develops, edits, and revises papers, formal briefings, instructional documents, meeting notes, articles and formal documents in support of the NORAD and USNORTHCOM missions. Complies with security directives regarding use, dissemination, and securing of classified information.
