Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, El Paso Field Office, Area Port of Santa Teresa, located in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
This position will allow you to perform a variety of general clerical duties and provide administrative support to managers and staff. This position starts at a salary of $50,460.00 (GS-07, Step 1) to $65,599.00 (GS-07, Step 10).
In this position, you will strengthen the Department's ability to protect the homeland by joining a valuable team of administrative professionals. Typical work assignments include. Coordinating, preparing, and distributing informational materials for designated audiences in support of communication management activities. Preparing recurring and special budget and accounting reports using established reporting practices.
Coordinating and tracking property management and space utilization activities for the organization. Assisting with fleet program activities, incident management support, and maintenance of fleet records and receipts. Coordinating routine vehicle maintenance, tracking vehicle accountability and usage, reconciling receipts, and supporting compliance requirements, including home-to-work documentation.
