Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to ?operate aircraft loading vehicles. May operate other tractor trailers or other types of gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles typically with a gross vehicleweight (GVW) ofover 3000 pounds.
Key Responsibilities
Operates heavy equipment and aircraft loading vehicles. Operates aircraft loading vehicles or othertractor trailersand in-line trucks typically with a GVW of over 32,000 pounds in freight yard and on flightline asrequired. Maneuversvehicle in close spaces around parked aircraft. Loads and/or off-loads vehicles, such as aircraft loaders being prepared to transport cargo from theterminal to theaircraft or vice versa.
Performs duties as a load team member, loading/off-loading/re-sequencing military and civilian aircraft. Performs general warehouse material handling duties such as stack, palletize, and/or rotates items considering their use, size, shape, quantity, and special handling requirements. Builds pallet loads to facilitate storage.
