This position is located at the Lower Brule Indian Health Center in Lower Brule, SD. The purpose of the position is to provide leadership and guidance that facilities the assessment, development, implementation, review, and reporting of all Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities and risk management initiatives. Investigate, plan and implement corrective action for problems related to hospital systems safety of patients and staff and public relations. Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulations employed by various regulatory bodies of state and federal government as well as non-governmental accreditation bodies. Auditing charts for appropriateness of hospitalization, continued stay, and quality of care against pre-established criteria.
