Job Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties

You will identify deviations from normal or anticipated radiation levels to determine if the deviations are transient, instrument is defective, shielding has moved, or equipment or area has higher than expected radiation levels.

Education

The following education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows: For the GS-05: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study above the high school level leading to a bachelor's degree (a) with a major study in an appropriate field of physical science or (b) that included at least 24 semester hours in any combination of courses such as physical science, engineering, or any branch of mathematics, except financial and commercial mathematics. For the GS-04: Successful completion of 2 years of education above the high school level that included at least 12 semester hours in any combination of courses such as physical science, engineering, or any branch of mathematics, except financial and commercial mathematics.
