The primary purpose of this position is to install, operate, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical power production equipment and associated components, electrical distribution equipment, and aircraft arresting barriers. To install, modify, test, troubleshoot, maintain and repair electric power controlling equipment, various electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Installs, inspects, and performs modifications and repairs to electrical power support systems such as electrical power plants and power distribution equipment. - Installs, repairs or replaces, modifies, loads and tests new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, panels, switches, breakers and controls, located in and near installation buildings and structures. - Performs preventive maintenance on electrical power support systems.
- Troubleshoots electrical power support systems such as electrical power plants and power distribution equipment. - Maintains records and documents actions. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
This position is with United States Space Force, Department of the Air Force.
