The primary purpose of this position is to install, operate, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical power production equipment and associated components, electrical distribution equipment, and aircraft arresting barriers.
Key Responsibilities
- Installs, inspects, and performs modifications and repairs to electrical power support systems - Installs, repairs or replaces, modifies, loads and tests new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, panels, switches, breakers and controls - Performs preventive maintenance on electrical power support systems - Troubleshoots electrical power support systems such as electrical power plants and power distribution equipment - Troubleshoots distribution circuits and generating and controlling equipment.
Maintains records and documents actions. - Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment
This position is with United States Space Force, Department of the Air Force.
