Joining Customs & Border Protection (CBP), Office of Human Resources Management, will allow you to use your expertise as a Product Owner and lead business-driven projects through execution of standard product management principles for the delivery of HR software solutions. This position starts at a salary of $106,437.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $138,370.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
Major Duties: Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates through customer and executive briefings and reports; serving as the primary point of contact for product updates, risks, and decisions to ensure alignment with agency goals, meet organizational needs, and secure buy-in for product initiatives.
Leading efforts to redesign processes, implement changes, engage stakeholders, and monitor progress to ensure successful adoption and measurable improvement in business outcomes, in alignment with organizational goals. Conducting in-depth analysis of HR business needs, gathering and accurately defining functional and non-functional requirements, and translating them into clear, detailed requirement artifacts.
Using key metrics to inform decision-making and make data-driven adjustments that align with business objectives and improve overall outcomes. Ensuring all product development activities comply with federal regulations, DHS, and CBP policies, and best practices in HR Information Technology management, while maintaining thorough documentation of product requirements, design specifications, and decision-making processes.
