GS-09/11 - The primary purpose of this position: Serves as an AMC/A4P management and program analyst. Applies AMC headquarters organizational structure/process knowledge to plan, organize, and determine necessary resources, budget, manpower, manning and procedures for establishment and maintenance of assigned major command operations.
GS-09 Duties: Performs developmental assignments. Performs moderately difficult and complex assignments consisting of wellprecedented tasks to further orient the employee in the application of occupational principles, methods, and techniques. Performs recurring assignments. Independently performs work assignments which gradually increase in difficulty and complexity. Carries out special projects and participates in special initiatives and studies.
Prepares written correspondence and other documents and briefs efforts, as required. GS-11 Duties: Identifies specific requirements for manpower, and services needed to support current and future logistics, engineering, and force protection operations and staffing and correlates those requirements with program plans to assure timely support.
Documents logistics, engineering, and force protection manpower and manning decisions in appropriate formats to meet Air Force and Major Command requirements. Serves as the primary organizational liaison with civilian personnel on all actions involving civilian recruitment, classification, performance evaluation, placement, promotions, separations, career development, equal employment, awards, reprimands, etc. Tracks all personnel, manpower, and training actions.
Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff functions and activities to influence managers and other officials to accept and implement findings and recommendations, resolve conflict or resource problems, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned program(s).
