Job Summary
The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) is responsible for identifying and conducting investigations into alleged safety defects in motor vehicle equipment within the meaning of 49 U.S.C. Chapter 301, "Motor Vehicle Safety."
Key Responsibilities
As a Program Analyst, you will: Be responsible for managing the ODI Helpdesk, including daily monitoring of the portal email inboxes, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving portal reporting issues, and providing timely responses to all non-automated messages.
Be responsible for assisting the DAI Team Lead with the management of the DMM in ODI's Artemis database, including processes used for overseeing the quality, integrity, and standardization of manufacturer, product, and component data entries.
Assist the Division Chief in the coordination and planning of TAD's manufacturer outreach meeting process, including manufacturer selection and outreach agenda topics, scheduling and coordination of follow-up actions, and documentation of meeting dates, attendees, and presented material. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of processes used to collect data through the agency's online reporting portals and to trouble shoot and correct problems when they occur.
They will be able to handle multiple tasks and be a team player.
