Job Summary

The position assists with the development and coordination of data systems, supports automated workpaper processes, contributes to routine budget and resource tracking, helps identify training requirements, and performs related administrative support tasks. Location of position: Office of Inspector General Administration and Data Systems Staff (JAS) 1800 F Street NW Washington, D.C. 20405 We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Key Responsibilities

The Program Analyst assists in the OIG's mission by providing timely, cost effective, professional, and useful products and services to clients and stakeholders. Runs standard AMIS queries, verifies data accuracy, identifies routine discrepancies, and provides basic user assistance; coordinates access changes and supports scheduled maintenance under supervisory guidance.

Prepares recurring audit status and operational reports using established methods; extracts GPRA/SAR data; produces ad hoc summaries requiring moderate analysis; ensures accuracy and timeliness. Briefs management on assigned tasks; explains standard AMIS/TIS procedures; provides project status updates; assists with training coordination and system access requests.

Reviews audit products for accuracy prior to release; updates AMIS fields; supports quality control procedures; reviews procurement requests, tracks routine budget items, and assists with electronic workpaper testing.
