Job Summary
This position is part of the Deputy Administrator for Naval Reactors, Department of Energy. National Nuclear Security Administration Demonstration Project: This position is covered by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Demonstration Project. The NQ-03 pay band is equivalent to the GS-13/14 grade levels.

Key Responsibilities
As a Program Analyst (Security Operations), NQ-0343-03 you will: Provide independent analysis and review of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) security programs and procedures, and hands-on management of security-related activities within the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program Oversee day-to-day security operations both at Naval Reactors Headquarters and Field Offices, coordinating security requirements across a broad range of site and contractors Assisting with and develop security processes and procedures for the international sharing of nuclear technology and information, analyzing and reviewing federal laws, regulations, and policies to ensure continued compliance with federal security requirements throughout the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
Provide analysis of interrelated aspects that affect major administrative operations, such as security oversight, administrative support functions, and business operations. Provide recommendations and decisions on how to proceed in planning, organizing, and conducting evaluations that are complicated by conflicting program goals and objectives.
