The incumbent is responsible for analyzing and supporting the ASW (IBP) and Deputy Assistant Secretary of War Global Investment & Economic Security (GIES) regarding the development, execution, and monitoring of all GIES related acquisitions requirements.
This position is responsible for also coordinating and collaborating with USW A&S Defense Business Office, Washington Headquarters Service Acquisition Directorate (WHS AD), and USW Office of General Counsel (OGC), among others.

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: The incumbent is particularly responsible for the development of requirements and the monitoring of the advisory and assistance support contract, the technological artificial intelligence (AI) contracts, and the automation of multiple functions.
The incumbent will define deliverables, structure project work plans, and provide leadership solutions to solve the most complex acquisitions and relevant financial processes. The incumbent will lead the development and execution of training of government personnel regarding the use of contracts for mission support. The incumbent will be responsible for the financial management of the acquisition portfolio, planning the spend plan, and ensuring GIES mission support.
The incumbent has a general understanding of business processes across product lines and the ability to help design and recommend process changes, procedure redesigns, etc., as needed to support the IBP mission while assisting with quality efforts.
