Job Summary
This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, OFFICE OF COMMUNICATIONS, headquartered in ATLANTA, Georgia.
Key Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Program Specialist, you will: Provides personnel management administrative support to a serviced organization. Acts as a liaison with the human resources office and coordinates personnel actions. Coordinates the preparation of all personnel actions within servicing assignment, tracts the status of various personnel actions from origination to conclusion.
Conducts the purchase of a wide variety of specialized supplies, equipment, and services needed to support the operations of the organization using the Acquisition Performance and Execution (APEX) System.
Prepares and submits oral and written reports, reconciliations, assessments, briefings as required by governing policies, procedures, and regulations to the supervisor for review, tracking, or internal workflow management and analyses, process improvement, or corrective action.
Requirements & Education
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
