Key Responsibilities
As a Public Health Advisor, you will: Lead chronic disease prevention and control programs by planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based initiatives that address population health priorities, improve health outcomes, and support national public health objectives.
Provide technical assistance and program oversight to recipients, partners, and stakeholders by monitoring program performance, ensuring compliance with federal requirements, and recommending strategies to strengthen chronic disease prevention efforts. Analyze public health data and evaluate program effectiveness to identify trends, measure outcomes, and inform policy, strategic planning, and continuous quality improvement for chronic disease initiatives.
