Job Summary

As a Safety and Occupational Health Specialist in the Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate at Kennedy Space Center, you will provide safety support across a broad range of program areas, including facility inspections, safety consultation, mishap investigations, emergency response, manufacturing and processing safety, contractor oversight, and trend analysis.

Requirements & Education

Basic Requirement: If you are using education completed in the United States to meet the qualification requirements, your degree must have been awarded from a college or university that is accredited by a recognized accrediting organization. If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs. These education credentials must be deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
