THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a READINESS SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D2024000 and is part of the KS Joint Forces Headquarters, National Guard.
As a GS-0301-09, READINESS SPECIALIST, you will provide oversight, planning, interpretation, application of policy, final review and validation of subordinate products for presentation to senior leadership, and implementation guidance to lower echelon units and commands.
Work is to be performed in the areas of Mobilization Readiness to include liaising directly with the assigned Mobilization and Demobilization Station of a unit; the corresponding Training Support Battalion (TSB); respective Army Regional Command (1A); the respective Mobilization Brigade; and internal mobilization station tenant agencies.. Perform other duties as assigned.
If you are using Education to qualify for this position, master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B.
or J.D., if related Completion of courses such as the Officer Advanced Course, Squadron Officer School, Command and Staff College, Air and Army War College, National Security Management Course and others of comparable level will be credited at the rate of 1 month of education for two months of specialized experience. You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims.
To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
