Functions as a clinical expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. This position is located at the Villa Serena Clinic. As the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) you will support the Nurse Manager (NM) with supervisory duties and responsibility and accountability for the 24/7 operation of their designated units. Assist in the management of supplies, resources, and equipment for the area of responsibilities. Provide coverage for other ANMs as needed.
You will have responsibility and accountability for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and evaluation of individual staff performance. Function as a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor providing leadership to the team. Influence care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and implement new evidence-based cutting-edge programs/processes.

Maintain knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, Directives, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOP). You will support and assist with patient care, dedicating at least 60% of your time to clinical functions. Examples of support include, but are not limited to, serving as charge nurse, facilitating breaks and lunches by assuming patient care coverage, and functioning as a resource for clinical staff.

The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), or Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) must be fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission On Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
