WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Research Chemist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Designing analytical methods, conducting laboratory experiments, interpreting scientific findings, and preparing technical reports to improve the accuracy and reliability of chronic disease biomarker measurements.
Directing research activities, mentoring scientific staff, establishing experimental protocols, evaluating analytical results, and ensuring laboratory quality, instrument calibration, and compliance with safety standards. Modifying analytical techniques, improving laboratory processes, preparing scientific publications and presentations, and representing the organization as a technical expert at professional meetings.
Coordinating research partnerships, developing quality assurance processes, preparing progress reports, and maintaining laboratory quality and safety.
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
