WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Resource Management Specialist, you will: Assist and participate in the review of proposals and funding decisions to ensure they are reasonable and justified. Assist and participate in the negotiation of awards, and preparation of correspondence to post-award issues that arise. Coordinate with offices to ensure planning and administration of extramural funds are consistent with and supported by the intramural budget.
Ensure the program objectives are carried out as efficiently and effectively as possible with the maximum utilization of funding resources. Ensure compliance with all provision and applicable regulations rewarding and awarding of funds to grantees.
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
