Key Responsibilities
You will serve as the installation subject matter expert and program manager for assigned operational, tactical, transportation, and off-duty safety programs under the general oversight of the Safety Director.
Requirements & Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education, as follows: Specialized experience may be substituted with a Ph.D.
or equivalent doctoral degree in safety or occupational health fields (safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene) or a degree in other related fields that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours of study form among the following (or closely related) disciplines: safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, toxicology, public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, engineering, and industrial psychology; OR three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.
or equivalent degree in safety or occupational health fields (safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene) or a degree in other related fields that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours of study form among the following (or closely related) disciplines: safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, toxicology, public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, engineering, and industrial psychology; OR an LL.M.
degree that is related to the position being filled.
